Our Indianapolis-based operations reflect this strategy through company-owned infrastructure, trusted partnerships, and a commitment to financial strength and self-reliance.
Built to Endure: Infrastructure and Capabilities
Indiana Oxygen operates two cylinder gas filling plants, a state-of-the-art specialty gas laboratory, and an acetylene gas manufacturing plant—all company-owned and managed. These assets give us full control over production quality, lead times, and supply chain security. By owning the critical pieces of our supply chain, we are able to respond quickly to market shifts, customer demand, and unforeseen disruptions. This model has proven especially resilient during the global supply chain challenges in recent years. Additionally, we are planning for the future with two key initiatives for 2025. A project expanding Indiana Oxygen’s in-house specialty gas production capabilities is already underway, furthering our gas supply chain reliability for more unique specialty gas blends. Additionally, we are in the process of obtaining ISO 9001-17025 certification and plan to have the process completed by 2026.

For decades, we have maintained a strong and stable partnership with Messer, one of the world’s leading gas producers. This long-term relationship ensures consistent access to high-quality gas products and shared values around quality, safety, and reliability. Logistics We Control
Our large, modern, company-owned fleet of transports and delivery vehicles is another key pillar of our sustainability strategy. By managing our own logistics, we eliminate reliance on third-party haulers, reduce service interruptions, and maintain a high standard of delivery accuracy and timeliness. This independence also allows us to quickly scale operations and adapt routes as customer needs evolve across Indiana and Ohio.

Additionally, the financial health of Indiana Oxygen has never been stronger as evidenced by rising EBITDA as a % of sales, a declining long-term debt balance, and a steady line of credit balance over the course of the last five years.
Furthermore, Indiana Oxygen has invested $23 million in capital assets over the last five years—all entirely self-funded. This is a testament to our stable cash flow and long-term vision:

Environmental Commitment
Environmental responsibility is embedded in our daily operations. We reduce transportation emissions through advanced route optimization software that consolidates deliveries and selects the most efficient paths. We have also significantly reduced paper waste by shifting to digital documentation and electronic delivery systems. In partnership with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM), we work to ensure our production facilities meet and exceed environmental standards—demonstrating our long-standing commitment to sustainable practices that benefit both our customers and our communities.
